11-11-2008    Troy's Diary: " It was a dream ending for me, my team and my family "

I'm done! It was a dream ending for me, my team and my family. After many years of racing and winning it is difficult for me to think I could not carry on winning. But like my last race in GP in 2006 it was the perfect ending.

Since Portimao race I've been to see all the Ducati Dealers for a dinner in Milan and was also at the Milan Bike show visiting all of our team and my sponsors. There was also the unveiling of the replica street bike 1198R Bayliss replica in the colours we used for the last race. There will be 500 made. This bike looks great!

Next week I will be back in Portimao for the world press launch of the new 1198S. This is when all the selected journos get to blast around the beautiful circuit. I think they will be impressed as I was when we did all the catalogue photos and some video a few weeks back in Imola.

One event I am looking forward to will be in December 13-14 at London Wembley stadium for the Race of Champions where I will be partnering Mark Webber in the first Australian team.

It is a huge event and an honour to be invited so even if I am up against some of the best drivers in the world, I am really hoping to have some fun!.
