22-10-2008    Troy's Diary: " The end is near so that means organising "

Since Magny Cours it's all cooled down. Kim and I were in Bologna for a couple of days with Ducati and then we went to Sicily for an event with Shell, a long time sponsor of Ducati. It was a nice weekend. We managed a bit of time on a sandy-ish beach and we were fed and watered well. So I might turn up at the last race a little heavy though I am sure my leather suit will hide a couple of kilos. Anyway the track will be new and maybe the extra traction will come in handy.

Kim and I have been for a walk tonight after dinner, up around the palace looking over Monaco and talking about things we will miss, like that walk, lunch at our favorite beach restaurants and of course the best bicycle roads in the world and coffee etc etc.

The end is near so that means organising. There's plenty to do but if we have our passports, kids and dog we should be fine.
